Bob Gass

Bob just turned 60, but he still feels like a kid. When he's not writing or reading he teaches driver's education in Waukesha Wisconsin, trying to help little brats not drive like jerks.

His first published short story, "Three Lakota Women," won a Wrangler Award from The National Cowboy Hall of Fame & Western Heritage Center for best short story of 1993. he's had a couple more short stories published and one nonfiction piece about driving. His first novel, Bighorn, was published by PublishAmerica in 2006, because he couldn't land an agent, but it's received good reviews. It takes place in 1867 on the Bozeman Trail.

He's again searching for an agent to sell his new book, An American In Flanders, a World War One story. Married to Mary for 33 years, Bob is looking forward to retirement.
