Donald Emigh

Don grew up in small towns in Arizona and Colorado, and lived in South Dakota in his early twenties. Casey Tibbs, a long-ago rodeo champion, was from Fort Pierre, South Dakota, just across the Missouri from where Ihe lived. He was a hero – not only Don's hero but everyone else's in that part of the country.

He has written Western fiction, detective fiction, and other fiction including a play. He has had a few pieces – no Westerns – published in hard copy.

As a kid, his favorite author was Zane Grey, with Grey's "Lone Star Ranger" Don's favorite book.

Don lives with his wife in Seattle, Washington.
