Elmer Fralick, Jr.
After many years of testing the writing waters with many sorts of genres, on a challenge
uttered by his mother, Elmer wrote a short western. Mother asked, "Where's the wagon train?
Indians? A gunfight?" (In the latter, he killed himself.) The five page story is now a 300
page book, in a near-to-last edit. Along the trail he seems to have forged a path into the
nouveau western genre, and is not entirely unhappy about it.
