Kenneth Newton
Kenneth Newton writes out of Ridgecrest, California. His alter ego, Nasty Newt, SASS # 7365, is
President of the Robbers Roost Vigilantes Cowboy Action Shooting Club. He is a student of the
War Between the States and the Westward Expansion, and he combines these elements in Apache Gold.
It's the story of a small band of rebel soldiers sent out west to retrieve a fortune in lost gold
that would be used to finance a major Confederate offensive, and possibly turn the tide of the war.
His fiction has been accepted by Unknowns, The New Southern Literary Messenger, Bane K. Wilker's Tales of
the Old West, and Writers West.
His post-Civil War novel, Passing Through Kansas, will be available in the spring of 2010 from AuthorHouse.
