Russell Gayer
Russell wore out many a stick horse and toy revolver ridding the badlands of Northwest Arkansas
of outlaws and evil doers in the days of his youth. Championing the cause of underdogs, widows,
and orphans he sought to bring justice and stability to the untamed wilderness of eastern Washington
County. Russell has been writing poetry and short stories for over 20 years, but only recently began
submitting for publication. One of his Christmas poems was featured in the Nov.-Dec 2009 issue of
Ozark Mountaineer magazine.
